| Get the Goods: Tools Rule |
||||||||||||||||
You can liken beauty professionals’ relationships with their tools to most people’s relationships with their microwave ovens: They use them every day, don’t think much about them and then panic when they aren’t available. To most estheticians and nail technicians, these items serve as extensions of their well-practiced hands, sensitive to every nuance of movement. This is why it’s no surprise that many spa owners are now requiring skin and nail professionals to purchase, maintain and protect their own tools (although some owners do provide an annual implement allowance to help ease the financial burden). They know that a beauty professional’s choice of implements is highly personal. |
