Repêchage was on hand during the recent premier of Latin Fashion held at the New York Marriott Marquis Hotel to make up the models debuting Alberto Sanchez’s Spring/Summer 2006 evening gown collection. The show gave Repêchage an opportunity to showcase its upcoming Spring/Summer 2006 line and demonstrate how it complements the Latina complexion.

Keeping it Clean
CNN broadcaster Paula Zahn recently profiled nine California women who obtained permanent leg scarring after contracting infections from unsanitary pedicure foot baths. The segment, which aired on January 9, urged consumers to protect themselves by becoming familiar with sanitation rules and laws before obtaining pedicure services. Industry experts, including International Nail Technicians Association CEO Paul Dykstra and educator Nancy King, appeared on the segment to discuss the importance of regulation and adherence to proper sanitation procedures. “Salon professionals with proper education will do what’s necessary to make sure that [violations aren’t] a problem,” said Dykstra.
