Forget what you've heard about alcohol dehydrating the skin. The Spa at St Julien Hotel and Spa (www.stjulien.com/spa.htm) in Boulder, Colorado, is proving that corking the bubbly can actually be a beneficial skincare treatment. Inspired by the DiVine collection of products from Èminence Organics, the Mimosa Champagne Holiday Facial (50 minutes/$135) is the toast of the season. Imbibing in this treatment won't bring about the puffy eyes, blotchy skin or anything else associated with too much fun at a holiday party. The treatment includes a Mimosa Champagne Tonique product with champagne grapes to help tighten the skin and promote a radiant appearance. The spa designed the treatment to cater to clients getting ready for holiday parties. It also sought to deviate from the predictable ingredients of the season, although the treatment still offers an optional Yam & Pumpkin Enyzme peel. Let the drinks be served.
